This entire tour was a benefit tour in order te gain money for the E,O.Wilson Foundation.
Mr.E,O, Wilson is a very important friend of Paul Simon. Paul Simon wrote the book written by E.O.Wilson about how we can save the planet and decided something to do.
During a meeting Paul Simon performed some songs accompanying himself by only his acoustic guitar. Wonderful wild animals were to be seen on the screen during the time Paul Simon performed his songs.
Paul Simon took a decision for touring throughout the entire USA and he only gave performances in the National Parks
The weather was not always on his side unfortunately.
I have a few videos coming from the festival at Eaux Claires. During his turn on this festival it was the first time Paul Simon performed with Ymusic a lot of songs in a classical way. Only Mark Stewart is to be seen in the background.
Guess you all know what Paul Simon and Ymusic are a wonderful combination to perform with. Ymusic is also to be listened to the latest Paul Simon CD 'In the Blue Light".
Last night I had made some posts regarding this concert on my Facebook-account.I also have a few photographs.
Maybe Mr. 7th Avenue will be able to add these photographs on this side.
I will do my search for these videos now. By the way: Paul Simon gained a generous amount of money for the E.O. Wilson Foundation. Unfortunately Paul did never tell the xact amount......

>I only could find two full videos. Here is the second one.
Paul Simon made a statement during this tour to his visitors about 'anger'I understand what he is saying in this statement:
"The sermonette came just before the last song:
I feel a little bit funny about saying these things, but I’m giving, I’m allowing myself the privilege of it due to my advanced age. For years it is my observation: Anger is addictive. And we are becoming a nation of addicts. Ask yourself, “Who are the dealers? Who are the pushers? Where, where is that anger coming from?” And be aware of — when you hear it, when you see it — be aware of its source. It’s not, it’s not that we aren’t gonna have reasons to be angry. Of course we do. But decision-making and best choices are made with a cool and a calm mind. And in a well-knit community, practice kindness.
Then he played, in acoustic solo, “The Sound of Silence.”

I duly hope you all will enjoy my little contribution. Kind regards Corry
By the way: if you are willing to know what Paul Simon is saying during his statement pls use the Google Translator.

Some more information about "the Half Earth Project" of E.O. Wilson in cooperation with Paul Simon is to be found in this paperartcile.
I already copied and pasted "the sermonette" already in my last post.
This article is a review about another concert Paul Simon gave during his tour for the E.O. Wilson Foundation in 2017:
